“I had been struggling spiritually, distant from my faith and unsure of my purpose. But when I was granted a chance to go for Haj through sponsorship, it was like being called home. On the plains of Mina, in the middle of the night, I felt clarity for the first time in years. Haj gave me more than forgiveness — it gave me direction.”

“As a single mother, I never imagined I would be able to leave my children and travel across the world, let alone for Haj. But through this foundation, my dua was answered. The moment I entered Masjid al-Haram, I felt a peace I can’t describe. I made tawaf with my hands trembling, knowing that people I had never met had made this moment possible for me.”

Last year, I told myself that Haj was impossible for me. My spouse had recently passed away, and I was a widow. I decided to start working on saving for an Umrah trip instead. I asked the madrassah kids whom I taught, to make dua for me as their duas are very mustajab. They did, and Alhamdulillah, things started falling into place. Alhamdulillah with the power of one of my favourite Ayaahs in the Quran, Surah At-Talaq verses 2 and 3... I saw how Allah opened doors and sent me the necessary help from sources I could never have imagined, sources such as Haj Musafir. I placed my trust in Allah, and Allah came through for me as promised. Subhanallah, Alhamdulilah, Allah-Hu-Akbar! Allah has proven to me that what was "impossible" for me, was indeed possible for Allah. Haj Musafir provided me with additional financial support and continuous support and encouragement throughout my journey, and with this my Haj was realised.

Reaching out to Haj Musafir was a Life changing moment on it's own. When the sponsors of Haj Musafir heard about our predicament with our shortfall in covering our package, they went all out to help us obtain the Journey of a lifetime which we had only hoped to achieve. Our gratitude goes fully to the sponsors of Haj Musafir, as without them our Hajj dream would only have remained a dream. The support from Haj Musafir did not stop financially, they were with us on our journey providing emotional and mental support as well. Regular check ins and wanting updates made me feel like they were just part of our family. We made special dua that Haj Musafir goes from strength to strength in order to help many others that are in similar situations as we were. Insha Allah Ameen

“For two decades, I saved small amounts here and there, always telling myself ‘maybe next year.’ But life and responsibilities kept getting in the way. When I received the call that I had been selected for sponsorship, I broke down in tears. Standing on Arafat, I felt every prayer I had whispered over the years being carried upward. This journey changed my heart forever.”
